Cambois beach in summertime
The northeast coast here in England is breath-taking. I spent a glorious summer day in this spot looking at dune plants for the job I had at the time. You can see the pale blue/aqua Lyme grasses and the greener Marram grasses that stabilise the dunes. The bits of black on the sand are pieces of coal. If you look in the other direction there is a line of terrace houses with one bright pink one which I imagined living in. There was a little café across from the beach where my colleague and I bought cheese savoury sandwiches and pasties and then we ate them sitting on the beach.
Watercolour on paper
7 x 9.75 in / 18 x 24.5 cm. Frame not included.
All proceeds after shipping will go to Mobilizing for Palestine - (bloomcharity.org)
I’ll post the donation receipt in the gallery and send in an email.
