Highway 21

£15.00
sold out

This stretch of Saskatchewan prairie highway is etched into my memory. I remember picking bottles in the ditches for fun in the summertime - brown beer bottles hot in the sun hiding in the grass, riding bikes up to the cemetery and back down. Riding the school bus to and from town. I remember all the neighbour’s houses and their dogs and cats and the discoloured repaired patches on the road; brome grass and dock in the ditches. And as an adult, long walks with Mom, Ada in her stroller and the dogs trotting along behind being unruly.

Watercolour on paper 250-300 gsm paper

Size A4 (29.7 x 21 cm / 11.7 x 8.3 in) - there is an approximately 1 cm border included in this size. Frame not included.

All proceeds after shipping will go to Mobilizing for Palestine - (bloomcharity.org)

I’ll post the donation receipt in the gallery and send in an email.
